While the process might seem a tiny bit time-consuming at first glance, it’s truly a labor of love that pays off in spades. Involving your kids in the kitchen can even make it a fun, interactive activity! They’ll love helping to stuff the dough and can take pride in creating something so delicious. Crafting Your Perfect Pull-Apart Masterpiece

The magic begins with simple, premade roll dough. The key is to let it defrost until it’s perfectly pliable – soft enough to work with, but not yet proofed and rising. This allows you to easily cut each roll in half, creating manageable pieces ready for stuffing. Each half becomes a cozy little parcel for our star filling: succulent shredded chicken, generously coated in a creamy buffalo ranch sauce, combined with the delightful kick of pepper jack cheese. This ensures every single bite you pull apart is bursting with flavor.

Once your dough pieces are filled and sealed, they get a luxurious dip in melted butter infused with a fragrant garlic seasoning blend. This buttery coating not only adds an incredible depth of flavor but also helps the bread achieve that beautiful golden-brown crust. The coated dough balls are then carefully layered into a Bundt pan that has been thoroughly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. The unique shape of the Bundt pan allows for even baking and creates that iconic pull-apart structure, making it a spectacular centerpiece.

After a good bake, the bread emerges from the oven, a stunning golden perfection. A quick run of a knife around the edges helps loosen it, then a confident flip onto a serving plate reveals your incredible creation. What you have is more than just a dish; it’s an experience. A fun and flavorful snack, an impressive appetizer, or even a satisfying light meal, this Buffalo Chicken Pull Apart Bread is truly versatile and always a crowd-pleaser.

The Ideal Dish for Any Gathering

Thinking about your next tailgating party? Or maybe a cozy evening in, watching your favorite television show? This pull-apart bread is the ultimate companion. It’s inherently social, inviting everyone to dive in and tear off a piece, fostering a communal and relaxed atmosphere. The mild-to-medium spice level, courtesy of the creamy buffalo ranch, is perfect for a wide audience, even little ones!

One of the aspects I particularly adore about this Buffalo Chicken Pull Apart Bread is its universal appeal. It’s designed to be flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy, making it kid-friendly. Even my three-year-old happily dives in, pulling off delicious, cheesy, chicken-filled pieces. Each pull reveals a generous amount of filling, ensuring every bite is as satisfying as the last. No dry bread here – just rich, savory goodness in every single morsel!

To elevate the presentation and enhance the flavor profile, I love filling the center of the Bundt pan with crisp celery slices and crunchy carrot sticks once the bread is served. The cool, refreshing crunch of these vegetables provides a perfect counterpoint to the warm, spicy bread. Carrots, celery, and buffalo sauce are truly one of those iconic culinary pairings that are simply meant to be, much like peanut butter and jelly – a classic combination that never disappoints.

Tips for Success and Delicious Variations

Achieving the perfect Buffalo Chicken Pull Apart Bread is simple with a few key tips:

  • Dough Handling: Ensure your frozen dinner rolls are fully defrosted but not yet actively rising. This gives you the best pliability for stretching and stuffing without tearing. If they start to get too sticky, lightly flour your hands.
  • Even Stuffing: Aim for roughly a teaspoon of the chicken and cheese mixture in each dough piece. This ensures every “pull” gets a good amount of filling.
  • Bundt Pan Prep: Don’t skimp on the non-stick spray! A well-greased Bundt pan is crucial for easy release after baking.
  • Golden Perfection: Keep an eye on the bread during the last 10 minutes of baking. It should be deeply golden brown, indicating a crispy exterior and fully cooked interior.
  • Serving Temperature: While it’s best served warm, allowing it to cool for 5-10 minutes in the pan after baking makes it easier to handle and ensures the cheese has set slightly.

Feel free to customize this recipe to your liking! Not a fan of pepper jack? Swap it out for mild cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend of your favorite cheeses. Want more heat? Add a dash of cayenne pepper to your buffalo ranch sauce or use a spicier buffalo sauce. For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of dried parsley or chives to your garlic butter mixture, or even some crispy bacon bits to the chicken filling.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup creamy buffalo ranch sauce (I used Moore’s)
  • 20 Rhodes Frozen Dinner Rolls (defrosted, but not yet rising)
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese
  • 4 Tbs butter (melted)
  • 1 Tbs garlic parmesan seasoning blend (I used Johnny’s)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  • In a medium bowl, toss the shredded cooked chicken with the creamy buffalo ranch sauce until the chicken is evenly coated. Set this mixture aside.
  • Take the defrosted Rhodes Bake and Serve Frozen dinner rolls and cut each one in half.
  • Gently pull each half of the roll dough thin, or use a rolling pin to flatten it slightly. This creates a surface for stuffing.
  • Place a pinch of the buffalo chicken mixture and a pinch of pepper jack cheese in the center of each flattened dough piece. Carefully bring the edges of the dough together and pinch to seal, forming a small pouch or ball filled with chicken and cheese. A teaspoon of each filling per ball works well as a guideline.
  • Liberally spray a Bundt cake pan with non-stick cooking spray, ensuring all crevices are coated to prevent sticking.
  • Once all 40 bread dough pieces are stuffed and sealed with the chicken and cheese mixture, melt the butter in a separate small bowl. Stir in the garlic parmesan seasoning blend until well combined.
  • Dip each chicken-and-cheese-stuffed bread dough ball into the melted garlic butter, ensuring it’s fully coated. Arrange the coated dough balls in a single layer at the bottom of the prepared Bundt pan, then continue layering them until the pan is full.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the Bundt pan from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. After resting, carefully run a butter knife around the edges of the bread to loosen it from the pan.
  • Place a large serving plate over the top of the Bundt pan, then carefully flip the pan over onto the plate. Gently remove the pan to reveal your beautiful pull-apart bread.
  • Serve immediately! This Buffalo Chicken Pull Apart Bread is fantastic on its own, but even better served with extra buffalo ranch sauce for dipping, and fresh carrot and celery sticks for a refreshing crunch.

Notes

If you can’t find creamy buffalo ranch sauce, you can easily create your own by mixing together equal parts buffalo sauce and your favorite ranch dressing. For the garlic parmesan seasoning blend, a simple substitute is 1 teaspoon of garlic powder combined with 1-2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese, if desired.
